This guide is for artists and labels who built their fan gates, fanlinks or pre-saves on ToneDen and now need somewhere to move them. On 18 October 2026 I built a test gate on Valorizd, Fangate.eu and Premierely and read through what Hypeddit offers, with screenshots of what I could reach.
No single tool replaces everything ToneDen did, but each of its main jobs now has a clear home, and the sections below say which.
ToneDen did a lot, and its timeline explains why people are looking to leave
ToneDen's product handled fan gates, fanlinks and pre-saves, and its homepage still carries the title "ToneDen - Automated Social Marketing". The timeline is short. Eventbrite announced on 16 November 2020 that it had acquired ToneDen, and the deal terms were not published. In March 2024 the fanlink.to links stopped working because of domain issues, according to a report from Stampede Press on 26 March 2024, and Eventbrite paused new links on .to domains and pointed users to fanlink.tv.
As far as I can find, there is no official statement from Eventbrite or ToneDen that the product has closed. One competitor published that claim and then retracted it on 13 October 2026 because it could not support it. The site is still online on 18 October 2026, and it contains a decommissioning banner that is switched off. I could not check whether logins or paid features work today, and I could not find a current pricing page, so I would not build a new release on it. ToneDen has not been actively marketed since 2024. If you have links or gates there, export your fan data now so you are not dependent on it.
Before you move, export what you can while the account still opens. Download your fan email list, and save a list of every link you shared along with the release each one pointed to. Write down any pixel IDs so you can paste them into the next tool. Then set a redirect from each old link to its new page wherever you control the domain, since a link on a domain you do not own is out of your hands. If you cannot redirect, update the link by hand in your bios, release posts and email footers. After the move, click a few old links to see where they land.
Here is how the four tools compare at a glance
I matched each tool to the part of ToneDen it replaces. I did not complete a fan-side SoundCloud unlock on any of them, because SoundCloud blocked logins from my test server, so "Verified via" is what each vendor says plus what I saw in the fan flow.

Premierely replaces the fan gate part of ToneDen
Premierely is a premiere booking system for music curators that also ships download gates for artists, so it covers the fan gate and not the fanlink or pre-save side of ToneDen. The fan connects SoundCloud in a popup, and Premierely performs the follow, like, repost or comment through that login on its own approved SoundCloud API access, using OAuth with PKCE. The free plan (checked 18 October 2026) allows up to 3 active gates with actions on SoundCloud, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Facebook and TikTok.
Plus is €5 a month billed yearly and adds unlimited gates, any audio format, email capture, the fan's SoundCloud handle and follower data, CSV export, branding, a custom domain, notifications, webhooks and gate analytics. It also includes a connector that lets you launch gates from a chat, described in the download gate MCP guide.
Hypeddit and Fangate do more than Premierely on smart links and pre-saves, which matters if those were your main ToneDen use. Pick Premierely if the gate is what you used ToneDen for and you want SoundCloud steps checked through your fans' logins. Hypeddit is the closest all-in-one replacement for the ToneDen workflow
Hypeddit (https://hypeddit.com) has a free Rookie plan, and its homepage says paid plans start at $14 a month (checked 18 October 2026). Other comparison sites quote different numbers, so confirm the price on hypeddit.com before you decide.
Hypeddit's own notice, updated 11 June 2026, says its API connection to SoundCloud is paused and that the SoundCloud step is now voluntary. A fan can skip it and still take the file. Hypeddit says it is working with SoundCloud on what comes next, and you can read the notice yourself. Its gate is the format fans have seen most often, so there is less explaining to do. Pick it if you want one tool for the whole release and can accept optional SoundCloud steps for now. I compared it with other options in the Hypeddit alternatives guide.
Fangate.eu is the free option that bundles fanlinks and pre-saves
Fangate.eu (https://www.fangate.eu) describes itself as made in France since 2018, GDPR-compliant and hosted in the EU, and it offers free download gates, fanlinks and pre-save campaigns. It says it has no paid tiers, no gate limits and no locked features, and it adds donations on gates, a weekly Top 30 chart, share-kit images and ad pixels (checked 18 October 2026).
In my test the builder was a three-step wizard with 12 step types across SoundCloud, Spotify, Instagram and email capture, and the fan page asked for a SoundCloud login before the download. Fangate says every action is verified before the file unlocks, but it does not say how, and I could not complete the fan step to see it. Fangate itself notes that it does not do automated ad campaign management, so that part of ToneDen has no replacement here. Pick it if you want gates and fanlinks for no money and EU hosting matters. A small note, this is the French site fangate.eu, not the Italian gate manufacturer with a similar name.
Valorizd lets you make unlimited free gates across many platforms
Valorizd (https://www.valorizd.app) is run by an individual in the European Union under Italian law, and the free Starter plan allows unlimited gates with up to 2 actions each and 15 MB of storage. Pro is $4.99 a month for 5 actions and 600 MB, and Studio is $11.99 a month for 15 actions, 15 GB and branding removal (checked 18 October 2026).
It supports SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, Discord and TikTok actions, offers a redirect reward, and can import a Hypeddit gate in one click, which is handy if you moved there from ToneDen via Hypeddit. In my test the fan page showed a Connect SoundCloud step and a note that connecting also follows @valorizd on SoundCloud. Valorizd offers the widest action set per platform on a free plan, plus unlimited gates and a redirect reward for free. It has no ToneDen-style fanlinks that I saw, and the 15 MB limit is small for audio. Pick it if you want many platforms on a free gate and can live with 2 actions. Pick the tool that replaces the ToneDen feature you used most
If you used ToneDen for fan gates and you want your SoundCloud steps checked through your fans' own logins, pick Premierely, and the free plan covers 3 active gates before you pay. If you want gates, smart links and pre-saves in a single account and you are fine with optional SoundCloud steps, Hypeddit is the closest all-in-one choice.
If you want fanlinks and pre-saves bundled with gates and you do not want to pay anything, Fangate.eu is the pick. If you want to put a gate on many platforms for free, Valorizd is the pick. If you relied on ToneDen's ad automation, none of these tools replaces that, so plan to run ads another way.
