This guide is for artists who use Fangate.eu, or looked at it, and want something it does not offer, such as an Instagram or TikTok step, lead data on each fan, or a gate on your own domain. A quick note on the name, since I write "Fangate.eu" every time on purpose. An Italian company that makes physical gates shares the plain name, and the music tool is the one at fangate.eu.
On 18 October 2026 I built a test gate on Fangate.eu and on each tool below, and I took screenshots of every builder and fan page. My verdict is that Fangate.eu is hard to beat on price, because it is free and has no limits. The alternatives only make sense if one of the gaps below affects how you release.
Fangate.eu bundles gates, fanlinks and pre-saves for nothing
Fangate.eu is a French tool that has run since 2018, is hosted in the EU and describes itself as GDPR-compliant. It says everything is free forever, with no paid tiers and no gate limits (checked 18 October 2026). The builder is a simple three-step wizard for what you are sharing, the file and the actions. I found 12 step types, with six for SoundCloud, four for Spotify, an Instagram profile visit and an email capture step. The SoundCloud steps cover follow, like, repost and comment, plus like and repost for a playlist.
The same free account also gives you fanlinks, pre-save campaigns, donations on a gate, a weekly Top 30 chart, Meta, TikTok and Google pixels, and a share kit of Instagram images for each gate. Few tools bundle that much for free.
The gaps are narrower. The only Instagram step I saw was a profile visit, I did not find YouTube or TikTok steps in the builder, and the only custom address is a custom URL on fangate.eu. Fangate.eu also says its actions are "verified against the platform" without explaining how. The fan page showed a Log in on SoundCloud step, which I did not complete. Another tool's comparison post says a Fangate.eu gate did not complete in its test, which I could not confirm either way. Check the Fangate.eu homepage for current details.

Premierely adds platform steps, lead data and a custom domain
Premierely is a premiere booking system for music curators that also ships download gates for artists. The free plan gives you up to 3 active gates with SoundCloud follow, like, repost and comment steps that run through Premierely's own approved SoundCloud API access. Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Facebook and TikTok steps are click-through (checked 18 October 2026).
Plus is €5 a month billed yearly and adds what Fangate.eu does not offer: the SoundCloud handle and follower count of each fan, your own branding, a custom domain, webhooks and gate analytics. It also brings unlimited gates, any audio format, email capture and CSV export, which Fangate.eu has too. A connector lets you launch gates from an AI chat (MCP guide). Pro at €10 a month adds booking tools for curators.
Premierely does better here on lead data, since you see who downloaded and not only an email. The catch is price and scope. Free stops at 3 active gates, Plus costs money where Fangate.eu costs nothing, and Premierely has no fanlinks or pre-saves. Pick it if you need Instagram, TikTok or YouTube steps, fan data or your own domain. See the pricing page.
Valorizd gives you unlimited gates and the widest action set per platform for free
Valorizd is a download gate tool run by an individual in the EU, according to its terms. Its free Starter plan allows unlimited gates, and the action picker covers SoundCloud, YouTube, Spotify, Instagram, Facebook, Discord and TikTok. That is a longer list than Fangate.eu offers on any plan, and it can import a Hypeddit gate in one click. Email export goes to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo and Kit. Valorizd does better than Premierely on free volume, with unlimited gates free and a Discord step, which Premierely lacks.
The caveats are the per-gate limits. Starter allows 2 actions per gate and 15 MB of storage, and Pro is $4.99 a month for 5 actions and 600 MB, with Studio at $11.99 a month for 15 actions and 15 GB (checked 18 October 2026). The fan page also says that connecting SoundCloud follows @valorizd. In my test the verification email landed in my junk folder.
Pick it if you want Instagram, TikTok and YouTube steps on a gate without paying, and 2 actions per gate is enough. I compare it more closely in the Valorizd alternatives guide.
GateRush adds pixels and per-platform skip toggles at a low price
GateRush is an Italian gate tool at gaterush.me. According to its homepage, the free plan covers SoundCloud like, repost, comment and follow for one playlist or account, one Instagram follow, one Spotify follow, email collection, CSV export and unlimited MP3 uploads. Pro is €22 a year at its launch price, half the €44 list price, with a monthly option also shown, and adds Meta and TikTok pixels, ten SoundCloud and ten Instagram accounts, and a link reward (checked 18 October 2026, taken from GateRush's homepage text).
Fangate.eu also supports pixels, so that is not the reason to switch. What I liked in the builder is the skip toggle for each platform, plus a live preview and a helper that tells you to point the buy button on your SoundCloud track at the gate. The fan flow asks for a name and email, then shows a Connect your SoundCloud step.
GateRush says its SoundCloud actions are enforced, and I did not finish a fan unlock to see it. It has a paid tier, which Fangate.eu does not, and it beats Premierely with a cheaper paid tier and retargeting pixels. Pick it if you want a clean fan page and a small paid plan. Droploud puts your gate inside a free discovery site
Droploud is a free underground music site where gates sit next to charts ranked by download momentum, a feed and an artist map. Everything is free, with no paid tier, and Droploud earns from a commission on shop sales and paid promo slots (checked 18 October 2026). Files can be MP3, WAV, FLAC or AIFF up to 300 MB, and the gate steps also include Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Beatport and Mixcloud as click-through steps.
That discovery audience is something Fangate.eu does not have, apart from its Top 30, and Premierely does not have one either. Droploud's builder adds a follow of @droploudofficial to every fan flow while that toggle is on, which is the default, and as the producer I had to connect my own SoundCloud before the Publish button worked. Droploud says SoundCloud actions are checked through OAuth, and I did not complete a fan unlock.
Pick it if you release free edits often and want a scene-facing audience, not only a link. See Droploud.
Pick the tool that matches how you release music
If you want Instagram, TikTok or YouTube steps and unlimited gates for free, pick Valorizd and accept the 2-action cap. If you want lead data, a custom domain and webhooks, pick Premierely and move to Plus when you outgrow 3 gates. If you want a small paid plan with pixels and a clean fan flow, pick GateRush. If your goal is exposure to people who browse for free drops, pick Droploud.
If fanlinks, pre-saves and zero cost are what you came to Fangate.eu for, you should stay, because none of the others bundle all three.
